Bi and Pan folx are welcome, celebrated and belong here. I identify as bi/pan and offer bi and pan affirming therapy. I'm dedicated to creating safe space and connecting to community.
Whether you knew since you were a kid or have discovered feelings and attractions for more than one gender later in life, your experience is 100% VALID.
Whether you have been in relationships and sexual experiences with more than one gender or you've only had experiences with one gender, your experience is 100% VALID.
Sometimes the bi/pan experience is discredited or invalidated. We might be labeled depending on who we are with as opposed to who we are. We might have heard that bisexuality doesn't exist or we are confused or it is a phase. We might have experienced shaming or confusion surrounding our capacity to be in monogamous relationships or misunderstanding of poly/open relationships.
Bi and pan folx represent the largest proportion of the LGBTQIAP+ population but we often lack community and safe space. Rates of violence in relationships, stress impacts on mental health and substance use rates are higher for bi and pan folx than the rest of the queer community. I encourage you to reach out and connect because you absolutely are not alone.
